Continuing efforts to support salon owners by offering new possibilities for their businesses throughout the country, Indianapolis-based ETS Tan says it has partnered with a Carlsbad, Calif., company to be a patent-protected, FDA-approved teeth-whitening system.

ShineWhite^TM is a 30-minute system that is revolutionizing the current teeth whitening marketplace. Offered in salons, day spas, hotels, resorts and other companies that offer cosmetic enhancement, ShineWhite is a quick, safe, effective and self administered procedure that is a reasonable alternative to dentist procedures.

The system uses a unique blend of carbamide peroxide and hydrogen peroxide-based teeth lightening gel with an activator. Users apply ShineWhite bleaching gel to their teeth, direct a high-intensity, ultra-blue LED heated bleaching light to the front of their mouth and press start. After the first 15-minute application, users rinse, apply a 2nd application of gel to their teeth and repeat the process.

ShineWhite’s heat source and light power could be changed for users with sensitive teeth. While most non-dental systems only work on front teeth, ShineWhite is capable of whitening both higher, lower and sides of teeth eight to ten shades lighter in just 30 minutes.
